JLS star Aston Merrygold has revealed the meaning behind naming the bands new album ‘Jukebox’ as well as revealing what fans can expect from the release.

‘Jukebox’ will be JLS’ third album and is released in November. Featuring the singles ‘She Makes Me Wanna’ as well as new track ‘Take A Chance On Me’, the album is set to be another big hit full of variety.

“We called the album Jukebox because there are all sorts of songs on there. We spent six months recording in London, LA and Copenhagen with only one rule – there would be no boundaries.” Aston told the Daily Star.

Discussing the sound of the album, Aston added: “There are songs on the album fans wouldn’t expect from us and songs that couldn’t be by anyone else.”

“Vocally, we pushed ourselves more than ever before. You won’t have heard me sing higher, or Marvin lower, but there are also more complex harmonies. We weren’t scared to try anything out.”

JLS recently revealed that they are interested in working with The Jackson Brothers after meeting them in Cardiff for the recent Michael Jackson tribute show.

The list above will give you a rough idea of the songwriter’s/producer’s style and what you can expect from the fabulous JLS tracks. This is all we have so far regarding the third album but hopefully we’ll get some information in the next couple of weeks! There’s a possibility that JLS will premiere a brand new single at the June Summer concerts.. As far as their lead singles go, do you think they should go down the “Beat Again” route, “The Club is Alive” route or work on a brand new sound?

JLS are currently in the studio with @Biffco & @Al_Shux, working on a brand new track for their third studio album. Biffco has 41 hit singles under his belt along with 9 number ones. Al Shux is also a very successful writer who co-wrote the Grammy award winning track “Empire State of Mind”. This gives us a good idea of the sound for this new track!

What do you want on their third studio album? More collaborations? More up-temp tracks? More ballads?

JLS boys Marvin & JB recently tweeted on their official Twitter account to let fans know how the 3rd studio album is coming along. As fans knew, the boys were beginning work on their third album straight after promoting their single “Eyes Wide Shut”. After the promotion, Aston and his friends headed over to Dubai for a little R&R before jumping straight into recording/writing. [Tidbit: Aston is rumoured to be back from Dubai, unfortunately I couldn't find any pictures of him at the airport.]

As I previously posted, the boys have (so far) planned to work with DEEKAY and Bruno Mars. In their recent tweets, they’ve revealed they have been working with DEEKAY and “The Flash” (who is a producer/songwriter for DEEKAY). [TidBit: The Flash is the mastermind behind JLS' single "Eyes Wide Shut" and album track "Superhero"].

“The Flash” revealed that the track they are currently working on is “like EWS 3.0″. Sounds amazing already, right? Keep checking back to AstonMerrygold.org for up-to-the-minute updates regarding Aston and JLS’ 3rd studio album.

As you already knew, the boys were planning their 3rd album straight after JLS went through their wave of “Eyes Wide Shut” promotion. Thanks to Sabrina (one of the moderators from the official JLS forum), I can reveal two songwriters/producers that will be working with the boys for their 3rd studio album.
