Ast sticks up for friend Olly!

JLS star Aston Merrygold has said that he cannot understand why Olly Murs is not nominated for ‘Best British Male’ at the Brit Awards tonight (February 21).

Murs is in the running for ‘Best Single’ with ‘Heart Skips A Beat’, but the boyband member confessed that he is disappointed his fellow X Factor alum has not received more recognition.

“It doesn’t make sense,” he told the Daily Star. “He’s had two double platinum albums and number one [singles].

“But he’ll perform on the night, show what he can do and do himself justice.”

Murs himself has admitted that he would have liked to receive more Brits nominations.

Help Save AstonMerrygold.org

If you haven’t noticed – which I highly doubt you haven’t, AstonMerrygold.org has been dead   for a while now. It was one of the biggest Aston/JLS fansites on the net, giving you the best high quality images and information when you needed it. My friend – and old owner – Tori left to focus on University and her family, and I’m finding it hard to work on this website alone… and this is where you come in. If you’re a fan of the site and know how to work WordPress (or even Coppermine) then get in touch by tweeting me! Let’s work together to make AMDaily what it used to be!

I will try my hardest to update when I can until we manage to find more people to help out!
